I’m Ruth Lazerson, a Sydney-based textile and surface designer with a love of colour, texture and organic forms. My work begins with paint and intuition - marks made by hand - and evolves into patterns and designs that feel alive and meaningful.

Over the past decade I’ve created designs for rugs, scarves, homewares and accessories, always with the same aim: to bring beauty, curiosity and a sense of joy into everyday life. My style is painterly and expressive, often inspired by the natural world and the unexpected harmonies of colour but experience has taught me to adapt to any brief!

I create collections, coordinated sets and one-off designs for textiles, wallpaper, homewares and accessories. Each piece is crafted to work on its own or as part of a larger story.
